tummy aches......pepto bismo 1 teaspoon
vomiting........pedialyte to prevent dehydration ( See Vet if not
controlled within 24 hours, may need intravenous fluids this could cause
a very serious dehydration problem) Call Vet for shot to control vomiting..
Centrine injection. Withhold foods for 24 hours....
Pedialyte orally by syringe (no needle) 10cc 3 times aday and
1 teaspoon of Dyne or Nutri-cal, for a 5 lb. dog.
For Serious Dehydration: ONLY FOR THE KNOWLEDGABLE: ASK YOUR VET:
Sterile Intervenous Fluids SQ (Subcutaneous Injection) 10cc (Form a
Camel Back) 2-3 times aday....till under control.
a bee sting.......benadryl.....Some dogs have died from
alergic reaction to bee stings.
dry skin.........oatmeal shampoo and conditioner
add omega 3 fatty acids to diet or supplimentals like Bio-
Coat, Linatone, flax seed oil etc.
itching...........benadryl 1/2 teaspoon a day....but if not responding
in
several days, see Vet for the cause. Check for dry skin or
flea problems, or possible allergies.
Fleas.......Garlic: Can be added to food and also boosts the immune
system and rids internal parasites. I clove chopped
aday.
hot spots..........Oatmeal Shampoo, benadryl, flea control, panalog
ointment on sores, catsclaw (herbal) can get in capsule
form and sprinkle on food 1 cap split into 3 doses
helps allergies.
shot time for pooches..........Benadryl Pediatric Allergery Syrup
1/2 dropper a half hour before shot
(Vet confirmed it) for adults...puppies less.
dehydration..............Pediatyle 10cc. orally 3 times aday.
May Need Intravenous fluids: See Above.

fever............bayer for kids
See Vet for possible infection
loose bowels...........Avoid Rich Foods
Kaopectate or Imodium 1cc or teaspoon orally
2-3 times aday
for a 5 lb. dog.
boiled rice & chicken or ground beef...keep diet bland
pedialyte orally to combat dehydration
See Vet if continues for more then 2 days.
constipation............children's Castoria
Olive Oil is a safe and tonifying for animal colons:
1 teaspoon mixed with food 2 times aday till
regular again.
limping...........Keep pet from jumping, if not better, may need
xray SEE VET for possible sprain or broken leg.
something in their eye....... some saline to wash eye: Baush &
Laumb
eye wash/drops
Vetropolycin eye ointment
something caught in their throat.... Use a finger to try and dislodge
object....if not...put over your knee
head down and pat on back.
a cut........... Panalog Ointment, Peroxide
something in the ear...........Peroxide to wash out and cleanse.
Cotton Balls to dry.
After shampoo apply half dropper of
Mix and rub for several seconds.
Mix: in a 2 ounch bottle with dropper:
(2ounces of vinagar, 10 drops of alcohol)
Aids in drying,Panalog for Ear Infection.
