Traveling With Your Pets
1. Check out accomodations at... http://www.traveldog.com or
2. Make your reservations in advance. There may be a small additional
charge for the kidz.
3. Take their familiar crate, bed, bowls and a couple of toys; bring
their regular food and treats.
4. Stick to the normal time schedule as much as possible.
5. Never leave the kidz in the car unless it is cool, you park in the
shade and leave the windows partly rolled down. If you won't be long,
leave the air conditioning on.
6. As much as possible avoid leaving the kidz alone in the room. If
you must leave them, put them in their crate and put the "do not disturb"
sign on the door. This way, if a maid does come in (which they shouldn't)
there is no danger of the kidz getting frightened and running away.
One of the worst things that can ever happen to you is to be in a strange
place and lose one of your kidz.
7. Keep the harness/collar with identity tags on your fur kidz at all times. Even at night. Should anything happen it will help you find them. Submited by Brooke
